The best chicken wings in the world!

Wings Around the World was a restaurant but continues to be an exciting concept. We were forced from our site by the landlord. We had 83 flavors of wings, and delivered them hot to your front door (if you lived in San Antonio, Texas!); We also had the hottest wings on the planet !!!

Our sad story begins in April 2004. We opened the restaurant among wild fan fare and balloons.  After investing a lion share of our savings (since no bank would loan us the money to start), we began serving the best wings in town.  We were rated, by our customers, as the best wings, best sauce, and friendliest service in San Antonio.

We were on the verge of actually breaking even, and starting to recover our investment (a huge feat for a restaurant after 18 months of operation), when the evil landlord leased the space next to us to his cousin. His cousin had decided to build a doggie day care center next door, and use the public access area in front of the restaurant as a doggie walk.

The landlord fenced in the public access area, and painted the fence the same color as the shopping center awning. All visual access to our restaurant was obfuscated, and business decreased 75%.

The owner of the doggie day care center mounted his wash tubs (to clean the dogs) on the common wall of our restaurant, and the wall was not sealed !!!.

The landlord refused to seal the wall, remove the fence, or move the restaurant to another location in the shopping center.  He even had the gaul to suggest that this doggie day care would be good for business.  I had to remind him that chicken bones, and dogs do not get along.  Chicken bones splinter easily, and could harm or even kill the dogs.

Needless to say, we had to vacate the premise before the health department closed the restaurant down for health code violations or be sued for harming a dog with a chicken bone. We all love dogs, and would not put them in any danger!

Some day, we would love to reopen the restaurant!!
